No wonder they're not going to do anything about it quickly!Kathyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03968779589959003818noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8552616.post-427353588424314632008-07-26T07:51:00.000-04:002008-07-26T07:51:00.000-04:00interesting. It was only pointed out to me, not t...interesting. It was only pointed out to me, not too long ago, that when China increased it's petrol prices, that it eased the world price on oil. It was in the news not long ago, how the monies from petrol(in Australia) had been allocated. Our government gets 10 cents per litre for tax, PLUS G.S.T. on TOP of that. So it's like tax on tax. So at what point does the government start helping the little guy survive? The Aussie 'battlers' are having a tough time. So while the government is pointing it's fingers at the greedy oil barrons, no one in the government has piped up to say "WE'LL take care of some of it for you by abolishing the tax on tax" Our government has been in excess for the last few years in their taxes, it's time to ease the pain of those battling long hours for little pay. Let's look at the government and THEIR tax profits.Kathyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03968779589959003818noreply@blogger.com
